Recipe of the Week - 6/1/08

Green Chile Salsa

With farmer's markets cropping up all over, it's a
good time to make fresh salsa. This one is an easy,
versatile one.


Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups diced seeded tomato
1/4 cup diced sweet onion
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon minced fresh cilantro
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup diced green chiles
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt


Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and let sit for about 20 minutes.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Makes: about 1 1/3 cups.
