Green Chili |

This is a versatile condiment or side dish. It is very good to serve
in a build-it-yourself taco, burrito, or taco salad. You
can add variety by adding corn, avocado, or tomato.
Ingredients:
1 lb can of black beans
1/2 cup dicedred bell pepper
3 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup diced green chiles
3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh oregano or 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp fresh lime or lemon juice
salt to taste
chopped tomato as a garnish
Preparation:
Combine all the ingredients. Let sit for about 30 minutes then taste
and adjust
the seasoning.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Makes: about 2 1/2 cups
