Inside Out Chile Cheeseburger

Easy to make, flavorful, and a real treat with the cheese and chiles inside the meat.
Ingredients
  • 4 3-inch square slices of sharp cheddar cheese (1/4 inch thick)
  • ¼ cup whole roasted chiles, cut into 1 inch strips
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp fresh ground pepper
  • 2 tsp Montreal steak seasoning
Instructions
  1. Preheat grill to medium high.
  2. Gently mix beef, Montreal steak seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and pepper till blended.
  3. Form into 8 thin patties, each 4 inches in diameter.
  4. Place a slice of cheese on 4 of the patties. Cover the cheese with chile strips.
  5. Top each with another beef pattie and pinch edges to seal.
  6. Grill each burger about 4 minutes each side for medium well done and serve on buns.
