Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. Tri-Tip Beef, Cubed
  • 1 14-oz. can Beef Broth
  • 1 14-oz. can Chicken Broth
  • 1 8-oz. can Hunt's Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Tabasco Sauce
  • Water as needed
  • 8 tablespoons Mild California Chili Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Hot California Chili Powder
  • 3 tablespoons Cumin
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Granules
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Granules
  • ½ tablespoon Arrowroot
Instructions
  1. Blend spice mix (second group of ingredients).
  2. Brown meat, drain and add to chili pot with broths and
  3. tomato sauce.
  4. Add ¾ of spice mix, bring to boil and simmer for 2 hours.
  5. Add Tabasco and remaining spices. Thin gravy with water,
  6. if neccessary. Cook additional half hour or until meat is tender.
  7. Add salt to taste.
