- ½ cup fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1 tbsp lime zest
- 1 tbsp smoke flavor
- 1 can chicken broth
- ½ cup hot green chiles (use 1 cup for more heat)
- Dump all ingredients except pork in a blender and blend in a few bursts to a lumpy puree.
- Put the pork in a crock pot, cover with the lime mixture, and cook on low for 10 hours.
- Remove the pork to a plate or cutting board, let cool slightly, and shred with two forks.
- Dump the shredded pork back into the liquid, stir well, and cook for another hour on low.
