Maria's Salsa

This salsa was the winner in the 2009 Denver Chili Fest in the appetizer category. There were a lot of competitors, but this took the prize. Yet, it is very easy to make.
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups green chiles
  • 5-6 medium tomatoes
  • 1 small red onion
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a salsa maker or food
  2. chopper. If no food chopper, dice all ingredients.
  3. Add fresh lime and salt to taste.
