This salsa was the winner in the 2009 Denver Chili Fest in the appetizer category. There were a lot of competitors, but this took the prize. Yet, it is very easy to make.

Serves: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 1½ cups green chiles
- 5-6 medium tomatoes
- 1 small red onion
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch chopped cilantro
- 1 lime
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a salsa maker or food
- chopper. If no food chopper, dice all ingredients.
- Add fresh lime and salt to taste.
Simple, can’t fail.
