Ingredients
  • 3 lbs of Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup diced jalapeño peppers
  • 1 cup diced serano peppers
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, diced
  • 1 brown skinned onion,diced
  • 1 red onion,diced
  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • SAUCE:
  • 1 - 8oz can of spicy tomato sauce*
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp MSG
  • ½ tsp ground serano
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, blend the chopped vegetables and the juice of 2 limes, then set the bowl aside.
  2. Add all the ingredients for the sauce mixture together and warm it up (this helps the powders to soften some).
  3. Let the mixture cool and then pour over the diced vegetables.
  4. Refrigerate overnight for the flavors to combine.
